Gogol Bordello in Prague.

   Gogol Bordello band after their summer gig at Rock for People festival will return to hold solo concert in Prague. “I wanted people to know that we are not art band, not ethno band and not folk band. We are the band from New York that performs Gypsy punk. No matter how many cultures are combined in our music, it is still our unique style. We don’t represent anyone except ourselves. This is our vision of nowadays social, political, and cultural situation,” – speaks front man of eccentric band.

Dance Celebration – point of attraction!

   Took place!!! The thing lots of people were looking for!!! Media agency “Dance Corporation” blew up Europe again! This time trade center “Arkady Pankrac” in Prague has become the victim and epicenter of cultural intervention. It was their first party in such style in Czech Republic. It is no mere chance that for arranging of the biggest music event of the year so unusual place was chosen.

1. How the idea about Dance Celebration was created?

We asked ourselves what is missing in Prague? There are great clubs (for a few hundred people) and sometimes big DJ concerts for individual DJs but we wanted to do something special.

   The band “Boombox” was created in the middle of 2004 year. That time two musicians, who were working with famous Ukrainian bands, begun to compose music together. They did it only for their own pleasure not planning that it will turn into something serious.
