Dance Celebration 2010 Brno - Mauro Mondello (Italy)

At night 20-21 March 2010 the majority of clubbers from Czech Republic and near abroad will get a new dose of impressions – this night the regular Dance Celebration - party will take place in Brno.  Now on many forums there are already burning discussions about its organisation and headliners’ performances.

Here is the text version of the interview with DJ’s.

Mauro Mondello – is a DJ and producer. He’s young, goal-seeking and he’s already perfectly approved himself. Communication with him was interesting and dynamic.

- Where do you spend your vacation?

- Mostly in Sicily (Italy) exactly in Palermo where I originally come from. I spend my vacation there because I can relax from hard work. Of course you can meet me also in Ibiza or Formentera.

- What must a DJ be able to do? Honestly, please ☺

- A DJ should take his audience on a journey, offering the most exciting music experiences. He or She should be a performer and an animator, too. Crucial is that the DJ reaches a climax using his set und builds up an emotional tension. Of course a DJ should identify himself with the music he plays.

- What is you attitude to critics? Are you allergic to criticism?

- I am open for constructive and productive criticism. It doesn’t make any sense if someone isn’t able to explain his criticism.

- Do you conduct charitable events?

With my event-agency “Mondello-Events” I am organizing events in cities like Cologne or Düsseldorf (Germany) (e.g. De La Crème which is very popular). In 2010 I start organizing concerts inviting popular musicians from Italy.
